Dr Vo’s Journey to Aesthetics
Transitioning from ER Doctor into bespoke Aesthetic medicine.
We women take care of everyone around us- often at the cost of looking after ourselves! As a wife, mother, doctor, sister, and friend, I’m amazed and inspired by the women around me. I also realized that as I started to use products like Botox and fillers, often I would be asked to choose or buy my treatments even before I truly understood how they worked and what they could do for me— and I’m a doctor! Even when I saw a doctor to receive treatments, it often felt rushed and a bit like a “cookie cutter” treatment. In my years of practice, I am finding that the clients that come to me want more than just to pay for a treatment- they want to know the how’s, why’s, alternatives, and what will work best for them. They don’t want to look fake or plastic, they want to look like the best version of themselves. I realized that as an aesthetic practitioner, I could provide a service that is personalized, unrushed, honest, and kind- to help others feel fresher, more beautiful, and more confident.
Where it all began.
Dr Diana Vo grew up in Southern California and graduated with honors from the University of California, Los Angeles with a degree in biological sciences. She attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York and completed a 4 year residency in Emergency Medicine at the prestigious NYU-Bellevue department of Emergency Medicine. Dr Vo went on to work at a busy, inner city, nonprofit hospital for over a decade in the South Bronx where her dedication for helping people at the forefront.
Dr Vo has safely performed thousands of medical and surgical procedures in her career including complex facial procedures, to then teach these technical processes to junior resident physicians.
After moving from NYC to London, Dr Vo has attained the highest qualification in the UK for aesthetics medicine training, a level 7 qualification, from the well respected Harley Institute.
The love for Aesthetic Medicine
Dr Vo loves the practice of medicine and her wish is to provide excellent specialised care, supporting her patients to feel more confident and happy within themselves.
